These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your use of the website and services provided by Utility Tool Repair LLC, located at 20021 Edison Court, PO Box 16, Clearwater, MN 55320. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms in full. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our website and services.

Utility Tool Repair LLC has been a factory-certified repair and service center since 1999, specializing in the repair, reconditioning, and restoration of linemen equipment. We serve utility companies, electric service providers, and utility professionals across the Midwest and beyond.

We are authorized dealers and service providers for the following brands:

  • Buckingham
  • Utility Solutions
  • Youngstown Gloves
  • Klein Tools

We also manufacture and distribute Coil Master Reels and offer a full range of equipment sales, tool repair, and reconditioning services.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By placing a service request, submitting a quote inquiry, making a purchase through our online store, or otherwise engaging with Utility Tool Repair LLC — whether in person, by phone, by email, or through our website — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

These terms apply to all customers, including utility companies, organizations, and individual professionals. Utility Tool Repair LLC reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

3. Services

3.1 Tool Repair & Maintenance

Utility Tool Repair LLC provides expert repair and maintenance services for a wide range of utility tools and equipment used in industrial, electrical, and construction environments. Our services include:

  • Thorough inspections to identify wear, damage, and performance issues
  • Precision repairs using high-quality replacement parts
  • Cleaning, waxing, and refinishing to restore tools to optimal working condition
  • Testing to OSHA standards
  • Hot Stick repair and reconditioning
  • Regular maintenance to extend tool lifespan and reduce operational downtime

Please note that OSHA requires 2-year testing intervals for all Hot Sticks. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure their equipment meets applicable compliance schedules. Utility Tool Repair LLC will perform testing and certification as requested but is not responsible for scheduling or tracking compliance deadlines on behalf of the customer.

3.2 Equipment Sales

We provide high-quality tools and equipment tailored to the needs of electric service companies and utility professionals. All equipment sold through Utility Tool Repair LLC is sourced from reputable manufacturers and authorized channels. Product availability is subject to change without notice.

3.3 Pickup & Delivery

Pickup and delivery service for tool repair and reconditioning is available in the Midwest region for qualifying volume orders. This service is available by request only and must be arranged in advance. Utility Tool Repair LLC will confirm eligibility, scheduling, and any applicable logistics fees prior to pickup.

3.4 Coil Master Reels

Utility Tool Repair LLC manufactures and distributes Coil Master Reels. Orders for Coil Master Reels are subject to availability and lead times, which will be communicated at the time of inquiry or purchase.

4. Quotes, Orders & Pricing

All quotes provided by Utility Tool Repair LLC — whether verbal, written, or submitted through our website — are non-binding estimates unless confirmed in writing by an authorized representative. Final pricing may vary based on the actual condition of equipment received, parts required, and the scope of work needed.

  • Prices listed on our website are subject to change without notice.
  • Custom orders, bulk orders, and pickup/delivery arrangements require a written confirmation before work begins.
  • Utility Tool Repair LLC reserves the right to decline any order or service request at its discretion.

5. Payment Terms

Payment is due in full upon completion of services, or at the time of purchase for equipment and product orders, unless a separate written agreement has been established. Utility Tool Repair LLC accepts payment methods as communicated at the time of invoicing or purchase.

For accounts with outstanding balances, Utility Tool Repair LLC reserves the right to withhold return of repaired equipment until payment has been received in full.

6. Turnaround Time

Utility Tool Repair LLC strives to provide quick turnaround times to keep your operations running smoothly. Estimated completion times will be communicated at the time of service intake. These estimates are not guaranteed and may be affected by parts availability, volume of orders, and the complexity of the repair. Utility Tool Repair LLC is not liable for losses or damages resulting from delays in service completion.

7. Customer Responsibilities

When submitting equipment for repair or maintenance, the customer agrees to:

  • Provide accurate information about the equipment, its condition, and any known issues.
  • Ensure that equipment submitted is free of hazardous materials or contamination that would pose a risk to our technicians.
  • Maintain their own records for OSHA compliance schedules and regulatory requirements applicable to their industry.
  • Retrieve repaired equipment within a reasonable timeframe after notification of completion. Equipment left unclaimed beyond 60 days may be subject to storage fees or disposal.

8. Warranty & Workmanship

Utility Tool Repair LLC stands behind the quality of its repair and reconditioning work. Our services are performed by trained technicians in a state-of-the-art facility and are tested to applicable OSHA standards where required.

Warranty terms, where applicable, will be communicated at the time of service completion. Warranties cover defects in workmanship and do not extend to:

  • Normal wear and tear resulting from continued use after service
  • Damage caused by misuse, improper storage, or accidents after return of equipment
  • Equipment subjected to unauthorized modification or repair by third parties after our service

Manufacturer warranties on new equipment sold by Utility Tool Repair LLC are subject to the respective manufacturer’s warranty terms and conditions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Utility Tool Repair LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the use of our services, products, or website — including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of business, or operational downtime.

Our total liability for any claim arising from services rendered shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific service or product giving rise to the claim.

10. Referral Program

Utility Tool Repair LLC operates a voluntary referral program through which customers may refer utility companies or professionals who could benefit from our services. Referrals are submitted at the customer’s own discretion. Utility Tool Repair LLC reserves the right to modify or discontinue the referral program at any time without prior notice. Any incentives or benefits associated with the referral program will be communicated separately at the time of participation.

11. Student Discount Program

Utility Tool Repair LLC offers exclusive discounts to eligible students upon verification of a valid student ID. This discount applies to qualifying products and is subject to availability. Utility Tool Repair LLC reserves the right to verify eligibility, limit the discount to one use per student, and modify or discontinue the program at any time.

12. Website Use
